Whatever. I feel like every time I post something useful on this forum only, I get some kind of snide return comment. Regardless of how I did or did not format the links - someone was still somehow able to find it useful - without issue. With regards to the PERFECTION reply - STOP. I've written ...

If you're doing music notation and you want it to come out PERFECT, you need these three books in your arsenal: The Guide to MIDI Orchestration (3rd or 4th Edition are fine): http://www.amazon.com/Paul-Gilreath/e/B00355U2DW/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_1?qid=1325963006&sr=1-1 Study of Orchestration (you NEED ...

Re: Nanopad 1 or 2 with Kronos?

I can get either, but don't know anything about the pros and cons. As far as I understood, the Nanopad 1 has some nice drum functions (drum roll etc.) directly accessible, while the Nanopad 2 has a slightly other design and functionality. Can anybody comment on practical use with the Kronos for ...

Well I don't have my Kronos yet so I can't give u an exact solution, but I did add controllers to cubase before and it's not automatic like in other daws. U have to go to devices, add new device and u have on the upper left side of that screen a "+" button. Try this way. Or check in cubase manual ...

Re: Wavestation VST

So I just got the korg legacy digital/analog collections. I wonder why the vector JS on the kronos does not make the stick on the wavetstaion software move? Anyone have an idea how to make it work? Yup - a couple of ways: 1. The way you want on Kronos - Global -> Controllers/ Scales -> MIDI CC ...

Well, I say.....................

A MAC uses: a motherboard, daughter board, power supply, hard drives, memory sticks, software, etc. A PC uses; a motherboard, daughter board, power supply, hard drives, memory sticks, software, etc. I hate that argument because everything breaks, slows down, hic-cups, etc. because they are machines ...

KARMA Editor and KRONOS

WOW! I have such a better understanding of KARMA now and the entire control surface use of it. This thing is sick! I gave myself the KARMA editor for the holidays. So now it's new fun. Just remember to turn on the KARMA assignments and controls in the global section. Otherwise, will I ever make any ...

I owe KORG, Inc. a serious apology.

Hello all. Last week around this time, I went absolutely (and unnecessarily) insane with comments I posted regarding my KRONOS boot-up failure. I had panicked in such a way that was not only completely against my behavior, it just wasn't even necessary. Part of my panicked rant came from the fact ...
