Though I've never used it, Translater Pro is OS X compatible, and works with EXS-24 formats.

I think you are confusing the purpose of the editor AU. If you want to record notes and pedal data to be sent back to the Kronos, use an External Instrument track. It will record any midi data sent to it. Then, it will transmit that data back to the Kronos when you play the song in Logic.

Looks like Dan's right. And, it's not a Kronos issue, it's how the Alesis unit was desined. Here's a Midi Routing chart for it - http://www.alesis.com/stuff/contentmgr/ ... 31b5da.jpg

Re: Kronos Editor 2.0 - Feedbacks

Thanks for actually reading my OS version and your post. I agree it does not seem to be the Apple problem - may not be soundquest problem either. I do know nothing changed on my system since V1 and V2 except this one didn't work. Interestingly -while I didnt jump into the fray - I am somebody who ...

jmchiro,

have you found a resolution? I just tested the Kronos plugin in 10.7.5 with the supplemental update I linked above applied, and it validated fine, where it previously had failed validation.

Re: Kronos Editor 2.0 - Feedbacks

In this case, I am sorry but you are discussing Apple. This is an AU Validation bug introduced in 10.7.5 and acknowledged by Apple as being their error. They have discussed a fix but there has been no mention of a timeline. If you have not yet upgraded to 10.7.5, I would recommend staying away from ...

10.7.?

There was an issue with 10.7.5 where many AU plugins did not pass validation. This was resolved with 10.7.5 supplemental update - http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1599

You should check out http://documentation.apple.com/en/logicstudio/instruments/#chapter=11%26section=0 which shows how you use the External Instrument plugin in Logic to pair up your incoming midi/audio into 1 track, which you could bounce (not offline, though, as it has to get the audio coming in ...

You need to set up an aggregate device that contains both the Kronos Audio and Built-In output. Here's an article that shows how to do this. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1215?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US Basically, you are creating a virtual device with multiple outputs, combining the available ...

Glad to help. I'm not an expert, by any means, but according to Wikipedia (usual caveats - if someone else has better info, feel free to correct me), the audio bit rate is 1,411.2 kbit/s (as 2 channels × 44,100 samples per second per channel × 16 bits per sample = 1,411,200 bit/s = 1,411.2 kbit/s. ...

You can burn CD's with the Kronos - see page 191 in the operations guide - you just need an external USB cd burner. All CDs are 44.1k and 16 bit, so that's what you'll get when burning a cd. You'll get that whether you export out a 24 bit file to your computer, or burn it directly from the Kronos.
