Just upgraded my M3, and the world's first touchscreen hardware sequencer is exactly what we've been waiting for. The other two of the "Big Three" would never do anything like this. They would make us wait 3 years and charge us another $2k. Korg WILL sell a heck of a lot more M3s because of this ...

I want the upgraded M3 sequencer features, too. But, I'm going to ask, nicely - instead of insulting the company and demanding them. Here goes: Dear Jerry, Dan, etc. - The work you guys do is incredible and I really like the OASYS. Is there any way that some of the features added to the M3 can be ...

Did I read this correctly: the M3 gets an update WITH piano-roll?!?!?: M3 users got the Exs-3 for free, we had to pay for it, what is that about? Well, the fact is that the M3 has now a Sequencer update for free; that some of the current OASYS users, me included, would even have paid to be able to ...

I agree: it's disappointing to have paid lots of money for an open architecture flagship and 2 years later one has to watch cheaper non-open architecture synths being upgraded with things having been asked for many times AND read "Korg listen to their customers". Well - perhaps I haven't spent ...

What makes me feel really sad is to see what's happening to the M3: a very nice upgrade to the seq and its editing capabilities with the new M3 XPanded software. DAW – Derived Sequencer Editing The M3 XPanded uses the TouchView display to its fullest! Three new screens have been added to the s ...

I'm really angry, piano roll on the M3, and the Oasys? where is the Open Architecture? I could spend my money in a different way. Yes... If the big O users were upset with the Drum Track feature, and also the M3 sequencer with its Cue lists and its 480 ppq resolution; now they have to see this ...

And another thing very important is adding to the sequencer a piano roll view like in the Fantom, since it costs like car I think it must be as much complete as it can, i hope that the programmers are working about this issue. Another one for the club of "Add a piano Roll and upgrade the Sequencer ...

It seems that new addings for OASYS, too, are not on their way, that's sad guys who spent a lot of $ have in their hands an instruments which doesn't growl as we may expect. Hello Diego. I do hope something new for the OASYS will be released as well as all this M50 and M3 expansions, maybe an EXf ...

Glad to see everything is solved for the moment. :) Now, regarding the future, adds and banners is the way to go, IMHO. Most of the forums all around the world do this a way to exist, and they do, maintaining its integrity and identity. Besides, you can always control who and how will be able to do ...

Yeah, isnt it? :)

Anyway, I´m more concern about the coming future of the "current" Sequencer of the "current" OASYS.

There will be no replacement for all of us who spent all we had on this one.

Instead I own a Triton Studio. I wanted to buy an Oasys too, but its sequencer is useless for me and my today's needs. It is the same 16-midi track sequencer that my Triton Studio has. Why should I give 11,000 US Dollars to buy the same 16-midi track sequencer? That is why I was so happy about the ...

Stereo wave files in the OASYS Sequencer mode, any tips?

Hello folks.

I find extremely annoying how use stereo wave files within the sequencer, import a file to the audio tracks.
It was a lot easier and faster with the Triton/Trinity models.

I wonder if theres a workaroud to do this.
So how do you guys do it?

Thanks in advance and regards.

About the Hard disk clicking noise.

I reduced it in mine installing two matched 1GB chips of the same brand.

Try it.
Maybe it I´ll work for you as well.

Its sequencer is useless with a pitiful number of midi and audio tracks. The OASYS sequencer its not the best it could be implemented in an instrument like this, may need an update, etc,.. thats true, but what its not tue in *any* way is the statement above. Its not "useless". Some of us use it ...

I suppose Dan can confirm this, but If I´m not mistaken, and I think I´m not, Dan said here not long ago that they were working "on the next Oasys update".

So we can guess theres a new update on the way, but it may take a while yet.
