The argument about the OASYS and its SEQUENCER has been disscused a lot in the last recent years. Its clearly a crucial part of a workstation for many old and new users. And Its true that in the editing area , mostly, is clearly behind synths like Fantom G and others. Some people consider the ...

I didn't want to pariticipate in this discussion, but... It really doesn't matter, if the O's being discontinued or not. We have a fantastic instrument with a huge amount of possibilities. BUT, I have a bigger problem with that when it comes to software upgrades. Korg always said, that the open ...

How's about we hold off on bitching at Korg until a) the time comes that they tell us that development for the Oasys has stopped; or b) 12-18 months go by with no new OS updates etc. (since it seems like it's an annual release cycle). For what it's worth, Stephen Kay said on the KL forum that the ...

Included are some of the new OS features for the XS. New OS features Firmware 1.10 for Fantom G is out as well as the new one for the Mitif XS, so I guess we can talk about this for a long time. In this regard, I just hope Korg dont give up providing OS updates for the OASYS environtment itself ...

Thanks so much, dude. Nice work, as usual. :D New EXs bowed Strings is one of the features I was expecting for the Oasys in the future, after the EXs3 collection. PS: I´m looking fordward so much your new sample collection for the Oasys, is going to be a fantastic title, as Sample and Vocal Assault ...

From what i have understood, or gathered, nobody really knows if the sequencer, in actual fact, can be upgraded. Its all specualtion... somebody says the hardware wont allow, somebody esle says something else... Korg have not suggested or implied it can be updated.. others say its not worth the ...

It will be interesting to demo the Fantom-G in person. I am wondering if those screens have too much detail, in such small fonts that may be too hard to read. I think Roland will get a fair share of complaints from some people who can't read such small fonts. Hello Martin, my friend. :) I have seen ...

Don't forget that the Oasys can surpass all of the features with only a software update.. Maybe with just one update, maybe it´ll come step to step. We have to expect the OASYS will have the now in the works 1.4, and at least few more OS upgrades. So we´ll have to wait to see what´s happening about ...
