Hi, Just a quick update. I have had the O for about 4 days now, and have not been able to tear myself away. Strange thing is that I normally love synth sounds and trance stuff, but I have now become addicted to the Piano and Orchestral stuff. It just sounds mindblowing. Never in a keyboard has ...

Re: Why is the Korg Oasys so expensive?

Korg Oasys has only... 16[/b]!!! How can someone finish a project using only 16 midi trackis??? The Oasys may only have 16 midi tracks, but also has 16 audio tracks. Also has Sampling and Re-sampling capabilities, so you could record 16 midi tracks using all 12 effects, then bounce all down to 2 ...

Really like the track mate.

Normally just into Trance and Electronica, but really good :)

Kind of reminds me a bit of Genesis type stuff.

Cheers.

I was thinking about the Roland Fantom G88. But tried it and found the interface a bit clunky for my liking. So I have sold by Triton Extreme, Virus TI, and gone for the O.

:D

Cheers for the prompt reply georgeinar. Although I was trying to emanate more of a chillout mood than trance on this track.

I was thinking, the morning after clubbing the night before if you know what I mean.

Not sure if this has come accross.

Cheers.

There is no right or wrong answer on how to use effects. Music is an art, and is totally subjective. Sure, there are some recommendations you should follow. I think the first thing you should do is learn what each type of effect is used for, and what it does. Believe me, it is a very big learning ...

I had an M3 with a Radias Exb. I have to say that I sold my Triton Extreme and Virus TI last year to get the M3 with the Radias Expansion. I thought it was a BIG MISTAKE to be honest. I have now sold my M3, and am looking to get hold of another TI. Just found the interface on the M3 to the Radias ...

I can't believe the Triton Extreme has been discontinued.

Gutted :(

I have just sold my M3, and was looking to get a Triton Extreme 88 only to find that it has recently been discontinued.

Why are Korg still showing it on their main page if it is discontinued?

I have not had this problem before, so this is a shot in the dark.

Next to the tempo reading in the sequencer, try changing the value from Manu to Auto, or vise versa.

Hope this works!

Could it be a faulty x-y stick?

What you could do, is try recording a sequence, move the stick to the left, and to the right, and let it go back to the centre. Then see the last CC value written to the track. If it is anything other than 0, then you may have a faulty stick.

Are you sure it is not the rest of the band that is going out of tune, and they are using a faulty tuner?

Never heard of this issue before. As it is electronic, I would have thought it would be difficult for it to go out of tune!
