Really sorry to hear about that! It makes me flinch to even think about something like that. :(

What I don't understand is what does the price of repair have to do with who is responsible of the damage?

I'm thinking of exchanging my Supernova II ProX to the Andromeda A6 Aack! Keep the Nova! Wow, not the answer I expected, now I'm grateful I asked! Sorry, I used to pine after their "liquid audio" sound. I seem to have better gear than I thought then? :) It's not that I don't hear my instruments ...

I thought at first to create a new thread, but this is such a good thread. :) I'm thinking of exchanging my Supernova II ProX to the Andromeda A6, does anyone have experience on both? They are quite different beasts I recon so I thought to have them both, but I'm a bit short on space here. The OASYS ...

Hermode tuning

I found a company that does embeddable active tuning software for synthesizers! The technique is called Hermode tuning, and it really makes an impact. Please listen to the examples, and there is also short multimedia tutorial on harmonic tuning if you are not familiar with the concept. This is ...

The capability to edit programs in combi mode is the number one to me! Me too :-) So we can fully take advantage of the kind of techniques you recently you demonstrated with feeding audio between EXi. Kinda tricky to use MS20EX as an effect when you can't actually see it. Exactly, especially ...

The capability to edit programs in combi mode is the number one to me! I would also like the option to save single combis and programs to disk. And in reasonably sized files too, 2Mb for single sound is absurd. What we need is more active soundswapping community. Soundwise I think OASYS would ...

Do you perhaps play through a computer or other external hardware with local off? That could cause stuck notes too.

Nice coincidence that he used the S&H, the example I made for the program integration with MS-20 is quite easy to adapt to do just that. Take the MS-20 S&H program I made, disconnect the S&H clock source and patch the Modulation Generator square wave out to EG1 Trig in, and EG1 out to S&H Clock in ...

In the "Copy From Program" dialog, Instead of checking the "IFXs-All" check the "IFXs-All used", then the already existing IFXs are preserved. Of course if there is no IFX slots left you get a warning. Also you have to decide which programs MFX an TFX you want to use, but on the example you gave ...

That is very expressive and beautiful piece. Do you mean the synth on top, or are you referring to the whole scene? There is the Enya choir, a real Cello, and I don't know what is going on with that bell like sound at 0:33 sounds like slowed down carillon or some other bell like instrument. I don't ...

You are correct, the Karma quantize option was added to version 1.3 (Karma version 2.1)
It can be found in the Karma->Trigger page as Quantize Trig / Window.

One thing that the SY99 had that I would like to see on the OASYS is some of the tuning table ability. Each note could be any pitch from the whole keyboard spectrum, whereas the OASYS is limited to +/- 99 cents, per note. It's like having a "fine", but no "coarse" value. You have my vote on this ...

Re: Program interaction in a combi, with example combis and

I think the programming community would be dramatically more active if swapping programs was easier. I loaded your programs and combis with no problem. I put it on my jump drive, into the OASYS, and then opened the files, so that I could load them individually. I meant the saving process, I had to ...

Re: Program interaction in a combi, with example combis and

I was in a hurry and couldn't find a way to save only two combis and three programs, so here's two combis and three programs and two whole empty banks in a 2Mb file. o_O Woops ... I forgot to say that is the only way to do this. You can only save entire banks in a PCG file. Sysex is the only option ...
