I have never seen the Z1 so I have to ask.

Uh, this is becoming a monologue. Well I'm progressing. I noticed that changing the user scales sends SysEx so I captured and analyzed some. I can now manually write SysEx that change any of the user scales. There are still questions unanswered, for example I'm worried that +-99 cents is not enough ...

I totally agree! This was one of my first requests, don't remember if I posted it here or to my distributor though.
