However - unlike as suggested above - it is not possible for programs to interact in any way. A combi is simply a collection of programs with shared effects. I have to disagree, I will upload samples as soon as I get my hosting up. I made a new thread for this. http://www.korgforums.com/forum ...

Program interaction in a combi, with example combis and prgs

I made a new thread for this so the original doesn't get messed up. The question was about the interaction of programs inside a combi. Here's the file. http://www.elisanet.fi/sirwombat/SCWCOMBI.PCG I was in a hurry and couldn't find a way to save only two combis and three programs, so here's two ...

I agree that many Combis are like demo songs that you can not do anything serious with. But I think that Combis are misused, and their potential almost completely missed by many. For example routing programs through one another, this is hard to do because the programs must be edited separately, but ...

One of the reasons I did not sell my Supernova II is that, while I personally have no trouble playing fast with hammer action or softly with synth action, when improvising the keyboard directly affects the mood and emotion of my playing. That goes with the sound too of course. One other difference ...

I'm sorry to say, but I hope not.
I will be completely happy with my OASYS for many years to come, but a second version would certainly mean diminishing development resources for the first one.

And it took some ten years from rumor to finished product on the OASYS.

I tested tuning the scales in rapid succession, and it works quite fast. Only the whole User All Note Scale from C-1 to G9 took a little longer, but that's 128 notes! I made a document from the user scale SysEx structure and sent it to Justonic Inc. They replied that they will implement OASYS ...

Th Korg Z1 page jg:: suggests sounds very promising, but I must wonder if on OASYS that kind of page would be too complicated?
I have never seen the Z1 so I have to ask.

I also would like that pressing on the display would jump to the corresponding edit page.

I just reread my original message and noticed that I should have used the term 'user scale' instead of 'tuning', I hope I'm not confusing anyone. :)

Uh, this is becoming a monologue. Well I'm progressing. I noticed that changing the user scales sends SysEx so I captured and analyzed some. I can now manually write SysEx that change any of the user scales. There are still questions unanswered, for example I'm worried that +-99 cents is not enough ...

I totally agree! This was one of my first requests, don't remember if I posted it here or to my distributor though.
