That is just cruel!
In my honest opinion Korg has really listened to us users, and not just do some clinical surveys.

Is there a way to download the OASYS MIDI Implementation, the manual suggests the following. Note: To obtain a copy of the “MIDI Implementation” which includes MIDI System Exclusive format information, please contact your Korg distributor. But my distributor is in another country. I'm serious about g ...

I use the Program P0:Karma GE page for very limited monitoring, and Global P2: Controllers/Scales lets you assign some of the CC#:s. Also the OASYS manual has complete CC# appendix. The FC-300 has a annoying limit, the max CC# is 109, and so some of the OASYS CC#:s are beyond the controller. If you ...

Hi SCW, Did you notice Kevin's comment? When you record a line and play it back using just the synful samples - its utterly bland. But, when you apply their Synful algorithm to the line and play it back, it's truly a spectacular transformation. It literally - and I mean literally - sounds like a ...

DAW Control

I came up with a great idea, how large job would it be to implement a DAW control mode in the OASYS? What I mean by this is that the OASYS would send Mackie or similar protocol to the DAW. The rotary encoder would work as a jog wheel, and the transport controls would affect the DAW and not the OASYS ...

I struggle to accept the view that there can be an all-in-one solution for both live use and recording. It seems to me that if one is going to create a record or album, then the capabilities of tools such as Logic, Digital Performer, ProTools, Cubase, etc are stronger than the hardware-based ...

I'm sorry, but I can not understand what's all the commotion about. I downloaded the trial, listened the demos, and conclude that it sounds awful. Where are all the high frequencies? The only way to describe it would be "a great performance ruined by poor recording". I understand that the phrasing ...

Does anyone have an idea if this would be possible with the OASYS?
I'm so much hoping that I have missed something.

Thanks for the replies, guys. So does the yamaha bc3 A wind controller work fairly well(I couldn't find any reviews on this particular product)? And which midi adapter do I need specifically for the bc3 A? Also, I will do a search on the Synful sound program(s). Are these compatible with the Oasys ...

Harmony and microtonality with OASYS

I am studying harmony and microtonality in music, and I found few software products that can alter the tuning on synths realtime. One even reacting real time on the notes the user is playing. The "insurmountable" tuning problem called the "Pythagorean comma" has been solved! The Justonic Tuning Cube ...

That's an idea: but instead of the pricey WX-5, just try a cheap breath controller first. They are easy to connect to the Oasys. I connected up my WX-5 and did indeed get somewhat better articulations. So anything that gets a better sound, is worth trying. Incremental improvements.... [The best ...

Judging from the shape of the cover and the adjoining surfaces, I believe that the keybed itself is slightly tilted. I would not try to adjust the keybed, but your gap being uniform, attaching extra layer of felt might be just what you need. At least our local hardware stores sell sef adhesive felt ...

if you mean the sound @ appr. 1:50 then "yes", this is one of the many great STR-1 factory sounds.

Um, no, I meant the sound on top of the pad from 00:50 to 01:27, I guess that is the Nord then?
