The quality of every last detail! From the feel of the keyboard to the welded aluminium chassis. From the userinterface to the sounds and back again! The flexibility of sound programming, including the ability to route the different engines through each other enabling completely new synthesis ...

It definitely is not over yet, I'm quite astounded by this sudden attack of sceptics.

The truth is hard to hear, but any way, time will show us...right.
Your opinions show such immaturity that I'm finding this conversation pointless.

I have to admit: I went to a copy shop last year and had the manual printed. This was: a) expensive b) environmentally bad c) environmentally bad Turns out I never use it... And I even had them bind the different chapters in separate booklets! This is what I've tried to say, but here no one seems ...

I have got many serious problems with syncing, uncontrolable MIDI messages etc. in Cubase, Sonar and now in Logic. At the moment, I use a Logic 8 as a sequencer but the problem with changing banks and othe parameters limits my workflow to: sequence one track, bounce to audio. That is so lame! Of ...

I'm a bit surprised there haven't been any ads (that I've seen anyway) that emphasise the fact that the Oasys now has seven DIFFERENT synthesis engines, effectively making it 7 synths in one!! (Ok, nine if you count wave sequencing and vector synthesis.) I mean, since the introduction a total of ...

I don't respond since you didn't get my point. I DON'T HAVE ANY OASYS MANUALS SINCE KORG DOESN'T MAKE THEM ANYMORE and they're available as PDF only, if you feel comfortable reading the PC and the OASYS together, or reading it on the Oasys screen, good luck. These had been written I think the PDF ...

I have deliberately kept out of these discussions, but there's one thing I wish to say. The business game can be played many ways, and there is always more than one correct answer. What I think is a viable strategy, and what I would simultaneously really like to see from a customers pespective, is a ...

As it is now, you almost have to resort to two-hand editing: one hand chooses the parameter whose value is to be changed, and the other has to be either on the left side (value slider or up/down knobs) or on the right side (value dial or numeric keypad). In fact I quite like the two handed editing ...

I give up, if you like reading 1200 pages of book or pdf and burning your eyes, good luck. The thing is that also a cheap synth like the Yamaha MM6 has a DVD and it costs about 600 euros, I don't say anything else. Considering the thoughts by various people earlier on this thread about the uses of ...

... That, coupled to some hard work at the OASYS and actually reading the manual (which can be admittedly tough on screen and I admit to originally complaining about that but am now getting used to) ... I think the PDF manual is great because of the Acrobat's fast search function, I shudder at the ...

Did you find a solution for the effect you were trying to achieve ? ... What's the end result you want to achieve ? Yes, I got it to work. :) I wanted to change the step sequencer lenght on the fly to create rhytmic variations, but the problem was that the Step Sequencer End Step is not assignable ...

Thank you Daz and Sharp, I'm really glad that you got the forums back on-line! I owe much to the discussions here. I support any measure that Sharp and Daz see necessary to keep the forum up and running. I don't mind ads, and music hardware ads would infact be interesting. Korg offering a free ...
