I bet you will... Small keyboard for Radias? Not a bad idea! But I still prefer 49 keys - if not more... The biggest disadvantage of R3 is a small amount of polyphony - only 8, while Radias has 24. I love unison mode saws, and 8 voices just wouldn't be enough! 24 is really the minimum for me. Having ...

Radias is by far better, I guess I just have to deal with transporting it around. Lol, you've never gigged with 88 keys workstation, I suppose! Now that's is a real pain in the ass! Besides - use one of the hippest advantages of Radias! Disconnect the rack from the keyboard, and use it as a ...

Yes, because it's not a Mellotron  And it can make very decent synth choirs (like already said - PCM/vocoder)
It's a VA/vocoder synth - if you want mollotron sounds, buy one. I'm sure any rompler could simulate it also, if you find proper samples.

Well, what you said earlier about all synths having keyboard... For me - synths are passion... actually playing it is, I think, more important than getting the right sound (well, of course the results are important too), I was kinda happy when I heard about "affordable" Virus, but I don't think it ...

I like synths with keyboards also, but I have a lack of space, to be honest. My FX8 and Radias-R&K are already big enough. And like I said, Virus will fit perfectly on FX8 (right from dynamic pad bank - just enough space for Snow) And I just want Virus sounds, but don't want to pay the full price ...

Radias = Super Saw beast!

Just want to share my satisfaction of Unison modes of Radias! Every time I think I made the best super saw sound (you know the one) possible on Radias, somehow, it proves me wrong, and it gets better every time! No really - it has everything to make killer SuperSaws! It has 2 unison modes, one that ...

Do you refer to Recommended Retail Price? (RRP)?

I don't know... it seems like they don't give much discount for Access stuff... For example RRP of Virus tabletop is only 90 higher than the actual price.

While, for example Mackie SR1521z has massive 700 euro discount!

What is this RRP anyway?

My primary synth or rather workstation, is Fantom x. But it's hard to make something decent sounding, on this thing, due the complexity of menus etc. I find creating my sound much easier on Radias - so Radias is a secondary synth already. I can't imagine using it as a primary synth... I would like ...

Ofcourse it will be cheaper - but the question in - will it be a reasonable price. 1300-1500 euro is not a reasonable price, for something this small. It's basically the sound engine, without keys and all needed controls. 1000 euro, is the maximum what I would pay for it, but that's because I hear ...

1600-1300 USB? Considering taxes etc, Virus TI desktop goes @ 1600 euro, where I live, which is expensive. It won't have any point buying Snow, with lack of controllers, for more than 900-1000 euro. Btw - I will check this blofeld also. Seems like a powerful synth also... Heh - only 400 euro... not ...

You can buy it anywhere, where they sell synthesizers... just like Radias...
But I think you will have to order it.

Radias + Virus

Yep, it's an other topic about Virus TI... Why? Because Access is about to release Virus TI snow (not a rumor, it's a fact, already saw it on the web) and basically it's a very affordable Virus TI in a small tabletop package (28cm/15cm) Don't ask me about the price... I see there are lot's of Radias ...

I went to a music store today, and bought Stagg KTC-100, which is a perfect fit.

So if anyone wants a bag for it - KTC-100 is an option.

A gig bag for Radias?

Can someone recommend a good gig bag for Radias-K, with Radias-R attached to it
I would prefer a Stagg case, but which bag would be the perfect fit?

I don't have much experience with softsynths, but to me it seems highly improbable that a computer can beat a dedicated synthesizer. Yes, I use hardware because I'm more live based musician. However, Softsynths/plugins are more flexible for studio use (computer based studios). I've worked with ...
