Do you need to use the disk with anything else besides the Triton? If not, why not just look for an old SCSI drive on ebay or something? I still have my Jaz drive that I got back in the day. They also had the smaller zip drives, and you may be able to find other external fixed SCSI drives.

To be fair! The REALLY dirty stuff is a little better than subtle overdrive...but you'd for sure be better off with the Burn. What else will you be doing. If Jon Lord organ ALL you need, there are definitely better options. But if you need the other Kronos features! CX3 can pass.

Yep, you have a couple options: The K10 has 2 channels. Each channel has an independed XLR out that is unaffected by channel volume (in fact, it's just directly wired to the input for that channel). There is also a XLR out for the MIX of the 2 channels, which IS affected by each channel volume. One ...

Triton Pushbuttons

I'd like to sell my Triton Pro, as I've got a Kronos now, but need to do some repairs. Several of the buttons don't work anymore. I've replaced similar buttons on other keyboards before. But before I go taking measurements and combing digikey catalogs, since this seems to be a fairly common failure ...

I couldn't agree more. It just doesn't seem possible to get any kind of decent overdrive from anything in the Kronos unless nasty is what you're after. That's where I'm hoping I can integrate the Burn and resolve that limitation. With the MIDI implementation, I'm thinking it will be more easily ...

Try this, it's kind of a work around... create a new track that is sort of a dummy track with the internal sound engine turned off, MIDI channel same as the part you're playing on the keyboard, and route it to the IFX you want to control. IFX parameters only respond to controllers on the MIDI ...

I think I'll end up getting it mostly for the amp sim, though an improved leslie will be nice. I've been wanting a better distortion for both CX3 as well as the Wurli sounds. My plan is Aux1 out to Burn, back in Input 1, and I can control which sounds I route to it and where it is in the effects ...

It's the dedicated button on the panel labelled "tone adjust". :) It is the row of buttons that designate what the knobs and sliders do. From the setlist mode, you can press the "control panel" view and the touch screen will show you the knob/slider/button assignments. That's one way of going about ...

OK, so you got me thinking....In preload, all you're loading is the .KSC file. So if I manually load, is it redundant to select the .KSC file AND that folder that contains all the .KSF and .KMP files? If I JUST loaded the .KSC file would it automatically grab those? Also, the .PCG file is just ...

Ok, but some my samples occur in other places as well. OK... in AT1.KSC I have: a folder called Sampling Mode Date, that contains: Multisamples folder with: Science_MS (which contains "Science"), BLT Samples, and TakeOnMe Un-referenced Samples folder with: BLT_Intro, BLT_End, TakeOnMe a folder ...

To be clear, my goal is to, moving forward, have a good system and methodology of naming/saving/loading to keep everything clean. I don't have a good enough understanding of the structure now to get a handle on what's going on when things go squirly. Like I'm assuming there are "fragments" of ...

Kronos File Management

I apologize if this has been addressed - I tried searching but it returned a ton of responses and none talked about anything close to what I was looking for. I thought I had a pretty good handle on how the Kronos handles samples, multisamples, etc. and how to preload/load, but now I've run into some ...

I donwnloaded and when I try to run it I get a system error: "The program can't start because MSVCP100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I downloaded and installed the C++ redistributable package from Microsoft thinking that might be the problem ...
