It doesn't change your split points like the global transpose does, plus I can save different setlists for different bands and not have to have 2 sets of combis. I've always stood. It's bad enough being back in the corner behind a wall of keyboards....if you can't move around, you may as well be part of the back drop. I always try to dance around and get into it as much as possible. That's very difficult to do while sitting.
