usuing the onboard ifx on the oasys, need a few tips

im looking for some of the best ifx for guitar , woodwind ,piano and string sounds for the oasys . im getting into using more ifx as i learn about the oasys but mostly just reverb and delay but id like some hints on some of the ifx that i can play with with these sounds? i figure certain sounds have some ifx that fit them best any tips will be appreciated

Hi BADMANN,

You're probably doing this already, but if you aren't..

Generally what I do when I find a patch that I really like is to check the ifx and see just how they are setup. You can then implement this on any new patch or one that you've made. It will at least get you close and then tweak away.. :wink:

Simpliest way for me was going to the IFX-Page, select the IFX-number and step through the effects by using the value-up-button. Just like you would work your way through a new bank of sounds. It's fun and you'll discover some nice variations of a sound. 8)
