Hi Thomas,
don't have a PA2x to check the manual, but are you trying to record "Guitar Mode " strums on a pad, or just normal ones.

best wishes
Rikki

Hi Thomas,

Suggest this is how you start:

Edit a style such as "Guitar Bossa" which uses GTR mode on a coupla tracks.
Edit the GTR tracks and make some changes.
Save it as a new style.

Now you know how to edit a GTR mode track and you will see that the relevant sound is something like "Read Guitar RX".

Let me know if you ned more help after this?

Hi Thomas

hopefully this may help

Press Record

Choose

Record New Pad

Press Menu
Pad Track Controls

Track Type
Gtr

Pad Type
Loop

Trigger Mode & RX Noise
(Choose your Own Setting)

Exit to Main Record Page
Pad Track
Choose your Guitar

Pad Sync
I normally use Continued

Press Start/Stop button & start recording.

The note types should be listed in the manual
ie which note triggers strum up or strum down etc

As Rob suggested, study some of the existing guitar mode tracks , in some of the styles.

best wishes
Rikki
