New Triton Released

Post by Marc »

Check this out...

New for 2009, Triton Composite

Its an all-in-one, portable, lightweight, easy to carry, balanced, touch sensitive, velocity switched, portable instrument that is accessible from 360 degrees. It uses Pitch Count Modulation (PCM) with dual routing options and its LFO can be triggered by contact.

The computer-based design process has resulted in a huge sweet spot that yields outstanding performance. It is ideally suited for swing music but also excels on blue grass. Lefties will appreciate its ambidexterity.

This one's a home run in my book, way to go Korg!

I'm looking for a 88 weighted keys version...
Don't you know if they planned to make a big version someday?

I'm willing to bet this instrument is recommended for live use only...

Bravo to you gents!

I missed "analog" (entirely throughout the path BTW) and its "monophonic" oscillator (watch the sines for when to swing, when to square to bunt, and when to sample and hold -- all while ignoring the noise sources of course).

...and I should have mentioned other features such as its variable sweeping filters, unlimited ARP patterns, and slap reverb/echo...

(RVNOak) - live use for sure, but why not in the studio? Isn't that where we create hits in the first place?

I personally like the fact that you don't have to press a button to activate the "swing" feature. 8)
