Korg M3 expanded and losing programs

Hello Everybody,

My korg M3 is updated to the Expanded version. I have the EXB256 installed so I can atuoload the ex1,2 and 3 everytime.

I found out on this forum that when you installed the expanded version 2.0 on the M3, there are programs who don't make noice, this is because you have to load them into your memory. (the Ex3 is loaded auto).

I changed the setup and now the M3 loads the ex 1,2 and 3. But now I have lost some other programs.

Is that normal? Or is it possible to fix this problem?

Please any help.

when installing Xpanded pack (OS v2) you may have you own program overwritten by the Xpanded pack that now uses more bank than previous OS.

further, the position of the program is changed, so maybe the program you serach for is not disappeared but only moved to a different location.

what i have seen is that after upgrade to OS 2 i lose the previously update program/Combi of EXB-RADIAS

Ok, I think I forgot that I also have the Radias installed. This one you need to link it into the M3.

The sounds from the Radias are put in to the M3. In most of the combi's you have to route the programs to the Radias.

This worked for me.

I expanded my M3 to the latest version. Unfortunately some of my programs also got muted. Can some one help me to retrieve it back. I can see the name of the program but no sound coming out.

When you have the Radias, the ex,1 ex2, ex3. you will see the sounds displayed on the screen.

If you have an exp256 installed you are able to load these ex's automatic. These sound are displayed on the screen but you need to autolood these ex's. This is possible in the part "media" and ex-usb pcm.
This should take your problem away.

When you have the radias installed. In combi bank you have to press "page select" and then "eq-options". there you are able to select 1-4 parts of the radias exp.
