Download more effects?

I have heard that you can download more effects like LoP.2, Mod.3, etc. Is this true? and if it is how would I do this?

If you have an older operating sytem, downloading OS 2.0 will get you some new effects and looping tools. You can get OS updates straight from Korg.

That said, I'd like to know if anyone has hacked the KP3 and created homemade efx.

i spent some time trolling thru the Hex on the KP3, but the only hack i was able to achieve was in the text that scrolls when you change to a new FX patch. someone else did it first, i was just following in his footsteps but doing anything else you might end up screwing up your kp3 permanently so i haven't tried.
