Looks like a delay for Karma coming to Open Labs too.
http://www.karma-lab.com/forum/showthre ... #post83736

When it eventually happens, I have a feeling it's going to send a lot of people towards Open Labs and the Neko concept.

Regards.

Some people, but in this economy, I doubt the Neko is "flying out the door" of many music stores.

Seen this before, and always thought Reactable would be great for schools. A fantastic, fun and educational tool.

Me too, but I didn't expect to see it going into production.

I believe Bjork used one live on stage as her music fits with the sounds this produces, but I can't see it being a main stream tool. MultiTouch in a Laptop / Desktop display sure, that's what Windows 7 will rush in most of all, but a big ass table... err... I wish them the best of luck.

True I guess.
Times are though and they will get worse. I lost my job too which was totally unexpected and crazy. I was the manager over a development team that got in all the contracts that the company is surviving on right now. Yet the entire team was let go. How that equals smart business totally escapes me.

Bummer :!: Very sorry to hear that Sharp.

I think, a lot of SME's are just getting rid of staff under the cover of the whole mess that is going on, unfortunately, there is no workers protection here as is in other countries.

Some countries are even worse, such as Switzerland, a friend of mine was working for 19 years at a major medium format camera manufacturer. He got the boot over night, no redundancy pay at all, it simply does not exist in Switzerland, they just can hire and fire as they see fit.

What really ticks my boxes is that the very people who put this country here in dire straits are still calling the shots, still getting payed their ridiculous high salaries and tell the rest of us to tighten the belt. Anglo irish is a good example, no one has been arrested so far, not a single line of information is slipping through the media, and one thing is for sure, this was just the tip of the iceberg.

My partner karen works as a homehelp for elderly people, since more than 15 years, and she has a lot of experience and is very good in her job. I could not believe when she told me that she got a call from her boss telling her to use not as many pampers anymore. I started laughing, but it turned out that this was not a joke.

People who payed for 40 years into a pension fund are told that they will see nothing because the fund managers gambled with their cash in risky stocks and lost everything.

The arrogance of the incumbants and how they treat people and tell them that they will cut their income and raise taxes is unbelievable, they could easily recover the billions they need here in other ways, as people such as Finton O'Toole have published in the irish times not long ago, without the need to raise taxes or cut payrolls, however, this would require steps to take that this governement does not want to do, as it would go against their very own power broking strategy. We have 4 million people in Ireland and 316.000 public servants that have state garanteed pensions and secured jobs. They created a monster that allows them to stay in power, that's the truth of the matter.

We are in the hands of the frakkin burocrats and accountants telling incontinent people in the last days of their life not to use as many pampers anymore.

sorry for ranting....

Korg needs to compete with Fantom-G and Motif-XS,

Ironiclly KORG's "arranger-keyboards" are better than their own Workstations, very sad.
