PA1x Pro as Midi slave

Quick question to anyone that can advise, I have a Electronic Drum set and wanted to record / create my own new Styles starting with with new Drum patterns in each intro, variation, fill etc. then add the Bass, and ACC after.

I connected my Drum kit to the Midi IN on the PA1x Pro so that I can record my drum playing live and edit these new recorded drums on the PA1x when it captures it.

I checked the Midi channel and Midi ID etc and I can trigger the drums channel and sounds fine on the PA 1x from my Drum triggers.

The problem is that when I hit record on the PA1x and start bashing the drum kit, nothing is recorded at all. Yet I hear the sounds coming from the korg during recording.

I checked the manual and found there are different default Midi settings that I can pick from and tried each one with the same results.

Anyone know what I am missing in my PA1x Midi Setup.
