Here one updated picture of the GROOVE DJ version
Image
The new OS will include the Player BPM Match, SYNC Plyers, Scratch and Vinily features.
A lot of realtime controls are now mapped on Player section, including the 2 MIC Volumes control, FADE players volumes, sliders effects and CDG Mp3, CDG Midifiles and CDG MPG video files.

Another question.... The new Vienna VST Library. Is the Groovestation able to read that VST?
Have you seen WIVI ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RGQ6bJ5OMuk
http://www.wallanderinstruments.com/

They have a demo version you can download and personally I think this is one of the most exciting Orchestral VSTi's you can get right now. When running the load on the CPU is ultra low even for complex setups because it's NOT sample based. The Lionstracs Groove would run this like a dream for sure I bet. WIVI is also far more playable in real-time than VSL.

Sure VSL is the mother of all sample libraries, but it also comes at a huge cost and you need massive resources to run the library effectively. Most VSL users use a number of PCs at the same time to run VSL.

Regards
Sharp.

They look quite a hefty. How much do they weigh?

I hope it works out better than V-Machines :D I'm still interested in possibility of switching patches without sound gap, guys!

They all look super utilitarian, which is great, but as an occasional graphic designer, and having some involvement in advertising, the fonts of the text emblazoned all over the machines seriously need some reconsideration. Its looking a very late 90s throwback kitsch, in a cheap sort of a way.

Sounds like an amazing set of machines, I just hope their looks do them justice.

Graphic designer here also. I didn't want to say anything, but since you brought it up... I agree.

Yeah, that's what I was trying to say all along. Too bold and brash. Too spiky instead of nice curves.
