Even they are not related to anything with a keybed, is always a pleasure watching you explaining the functionality of those amazing little toys that Korg pays you to play with

Keep em coming, Rich

Thank you gentlemen!

xmlguy, thanks for the cross-promotion! :) I love the R3, trust me... In fact, I think it's going to join the M3 and SV-1 in my live rig now that I've added a 3rd tier. I honestly chose the MKXL because it looked really good, size-wise, sitting next to the KOPro.

I still haven't figured out how to get a significant portion of my gear on stage all at once. I need a pair of octo-tier stands, but nobody makes them. Let's see, here's what I want to rig (non-workstations):

EMX, SP404, padKontrol, APC40, Maschine, MPC1000, Kaossilators, miniKP, KP3, DSi, X-Station 25, R3, X50, QY100, DFX12 mixer, VoiceWorks Plus rack, mic, laptop, and probably the KOPRO & SynthStation 25. I've also got LED bars and I want to add a fully synced DMX lighting rig with scanners and video projectors. I think I need a Transfomer Optimus KorgAkaiNovationYamahaMackieNIElectroHarmonix.

why do you need all that? that sounds like massive overkill imo

They all do unique things that I like to use for different purposes. They all have very little function overlap. I can name at least several features on each that can't be done nearly as well as anything else on the list. I don't use them all at the same time on the same track, of course. I do use quite a few of them together at once, however. There would be a lot more overlap with having several of the same kind of synth, such as a Micron, MicroKorg, and R3, for example.
