Hello, difficulty loading/saving in micro editor

Post by schmidi »

Hi all, new here and it's nice to meet you. So, I have my microkorg hooked up correctly. I can tell the editor to "capture" my library, and edit whatever programs are from my micro. My editor is version 1.0.4

I was under the impression that the micro can read/load ms2000 patches,
however, I can't load/transfer any MS programs that I have gotten online. Do I need to do something to the patches, or does it just not load them?

Are you using the MicroKorg or MicroKorg XL?

Are you on a Mac or on Windows?

the original MicroKorg should be able to load MS2000 patches. The XL has a bunch of patches converted from the MS2000 by hand available to download online (e.g. from KORG) but it can't actually load MS2000 patches.

Thanks for the reply, I should have been more specific: Original microkorg with Win Vista 32.
I actually figured the problem out though. I had the sounds in the "setups" folder instead of "library".

Maybe you can still help though. What is the purpose of the setups folder?

Thanks again.
