Drum Track Editing

Post by srg914 »

Can someone tell me if I can edit the pre-programmed drum track in prog mode. For example, if I don't want to use the drumtrack in the M50 Grand, can I replace it with the drumtrack from Ballade Piano? I won't need to save the changes, I realize once I power off and on the original drumtrack will play. Thanks.

All of the programs are fully editable. You should be able to go into the program, find the right page, and change the drum track.

If you want it to be the same every time you turn on, make sure you 'write' the program. A good shortcut for that is to press the sequencer Rec/Write button.

Thanks for reply. I was actually able to figure it out on my own. :) I've only had the M50 for a few days, but am starting to get the hang of it. But it seems the more answers I get, the more questions follow. But it's still fun.

I supposed to be that way. As you discover new ways of doing things, you crave for get deeper and deeper. The M50 is such a complex and amazing tool, Korg engineers managed to do things multiple ways and some of them at the same time.

Lots of fun time ahead for you
