Ableton envelope over synth part on specific MIDI channel

Post by milan »

Hi,

I've found a similar topic for my issue, but couldn't get the solution.
I've set an FXEdit1 envelope (CC92) from Ableton, for my 3rd synth part that is situated in channel 4, but is just not working. I've saw in the midi implementation table that FXEdit1 requires the global channel (1). How can I make it work on my 4th channel ? I have the drums on channel 1, and I do not want to change the midi channels, because I have also other synthesizers to trigger, and plus, maybe I would like to have some motion sequence on, let's say, the EMX's 5th synth part that is situated on channel 6.

I will really appreciate any hint.
Regards,
Milan

looks like you're SOL, but if you figure it out, do tell.
