News from Karma Lab

Post by RKfan »

I just saw this on the Karma Lab web site - copied here for convenience...

Karma-Lab Press Release: Project Chameleon

Karma-Lab is pleased to announce the release of version 3.1 of Karma for the Korg Kronos. This version of the software developed under the project title Chameleon is currently under development and is due to be shipped free of charge to all Kronos users by Christmas 2011. “Chameleon will be an upgrade of the current version 3.0 available for the Motif and will be a real game changer” said product manager Santos Inocentes. Stephen Kay commented “Well we decided to commit to Chameleon based on the feedback from the new Kronos Forum. “We owe Korg users such a lot and they were so nice about my Challenger Tribute, it’s the least we could do.” He gushed.

Kronos users are recommended to check their calendars.

End of message.

Nice try.

Would have been more believable if you hadn't included "free of charge to all Kronos users".

I thought you cancelled your Kronos order.

for me, waiting until December is not any kind of showstopper.

The Kronos is so deep, I will need plenty of time to get up to speed on it.

It's suspended. I found out if outright cancelled it, I lose the discount if I choose to order it later. This way it sits in a pending status until I either outright cancel or accept shipment.

Sorry I wasn't in on the conversation, but are you saying if I order a Kronos now, they won't be available till then? I didn't realize that there was that much of a back order - if that's what you mean. Here I was thinking I could just get it around June/July.

Chameleon was an April Fools joke.

"Karma Karma Karma Karma Karma Chameleon..."

Get it? :)

Yeah I did get the joke right away but I missed the December connection. Thanks for drawing me the diagram for explanation. Someone had a very cruel sense of humor when I've been fantasizing about this keyboard for so long :D
Hopefully the reality will be close to the fantasy.
