setting up the kronos with velocity pads

Post by soundsailer »

has anyone setup their kronos with a set of velocity pads like the M-3.

I don't know what pads are available out there on the market, it's not my thing BUT since I've been using the M-3 I've come to rely on them to trigger RPPR's, I'm afraid it's a must now ( bastards for not putting them on the Kronos )

I'm planning on getting the Korg NanoPad controller - you can't use them live, but I need them more for sequencing in a DAW environment.

I asked a similar question... there are some responses...http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=62191

I'm just using the pads from my Akai MPC. It works really well but it's taking hours to go through all the drum sounds. The Kronos has this really weird on-screen pad setup with 8 "pads". I'm definitely not a fan but I can see why they'd throw it on there.
I recommend an Akai MPD or the Korg nanoPAD setup, though...

Cheers...
