kp3 usb midi malfunction

Hi everybody ! I'm new in the forum my name's Luca and I'm from Italy.
I need help for my kp3. I have a macbook pro 15" that i want midi controlling with my kaoss pad 3. I've installed latest usb midi driver, latest os kp version and kp editor but when i play it as midi controller in traktor or ableton live, after a few minute it stops working without any logic reason.
I tried all ways for make kp3 working but the problem persists :(
I ask you help please :( :(

try using this instead..... http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Converter-M ... 417&sr=8-1. to get my kp3 working on midi in windows i have to have the driver installed,but not activated... if the driver is activated it only works with the kp3 program...

Thanks for the help, I already thought about using a usb-midi converter cable but I've not tried this yet ! I didn't understand what you means to say 'if the driver is activated it only works with the kp3 program'...
Can you explain please ? thanks :D

Hi guys i've bought today a midi-usb cable then the problem is solved. probably it was only a midi-usb driver malfunction that i cannot be able to identify but, now the kp3 works as well with this new cable !
