Well granted they're a little harder to play, but they'll sound exactly the same with practice. This is technique, not action related.Mister088 wrote: OF course, organ and synth licks are not gonna sound the same on a weighted keyboard,

I wonder if this could be related to keybed misalignment.
The keybeds are held in place by eight large screws in the base of the Kronos. The 73 keybed relies on friction between MDF, metal, and metal, which is not very much. A good bump in shipping will cause the keybed to move out of place.
In my opinion, Korg would do well to put thin rubber strips on the mounting plates to make sure the keybed stays in place.
Personally, my Kronos' keybed was out (clunking on high-octave Bs and C's)
I loosened the screws and pushed the keybed in a bit (the holes on the keybed mounting plate give you about 1/8" of play), and that fixed my issue. Has anyone with bouncing keys tried moving the keybed around?
EDIT:
After monkeying with the keyboard for about 4 hours last night, I too can say that weird cutoffs are infrequently occurring. This should be fixable in a software update.
