First song with my kronos

Post by tdwctdwc »

This is my first test-drive of the kronos sequencer . I have to say i'm very pleased with the workflow !

All sounds are coming from Kronos .
The song was mixed in the K's sequencer , then bounced as wav .

File was then mastered on my DAW , with an added touch of reverb :)

Hope you like it : http://soundcloud.com/rabih-rihana/choices

Very nice. Seems like you made a good choice with the 61.

Nice! Reminded me of early Brand X. What is it about fusion that splits opinions so much? I just want to smile and nod, preferably with a drink in my hand....

Great sound! I would be interested to know what you did for the mastering.

Thanks guys. I admit the song is too busy lol , i guess I was too eager to try those kits in the Kronos :). It was basically a jam song to see what can be done with the k's mixer and effects section.

Waves SSL compressor , followed by L3-16.
IR1 reverb is feeding one of the return buses.

VERY nice... and while I loved the whole piece, I really thought the bass work was hot. Great stuff!!

Current gear: Kronos, Jupiter 80, Kurzweil PC3,Roland Fantom X8, Roland XV-88 (yep, its old, but the ACTION is heaven and those XV-3080 sounds are still wonderful for me), Radias-R, Motif ES (yeah it's older but I love the guitars ;) )
