I cannot find my Korg Legacy plugins in my Logic 9.1.7

Post by LEYAME »

hello, since I updated my KORG M1 and my Wavestation plugins.. I cannot find both in my audio units.. but it does show up in my components folder..
I can use them as stand alone plugs but not through my Logic pro 9.1.7 on OSX 10.6.8.
I think they are always in 32bit mode but I do not have anymore Mainstage or Logic in this 32bit mode.
Edit: I have already ran a rescan in audio units manager and I cannot see my M1 and Wavestation Legacy in my available AU instruments

Any help would be appreciated!

you have to start logic in 32bits once so that it recognizes the plug ins, then restart in 64bits mode and you'll have a 32bits plug ins category where the korg ones should be.

let me know.

thank you for your answer,
I tried to launch Logic in 32bits mode , but it's crashed during the initialization of the core audio. I tried many time to relaunch but I have the same problem.
in fact all my 32bits plugs are not available !
do know how to force logic to launch in 32bits mode ???
thank you for your help

Surely the same you did: right clic on logic icon, check the box start in 32bit mode, then launch it

yes I did that , but logic just stop while initializing core audio. the same with Mainstage,
I'm a little bit lost, logic works properly and everything works fine in 64 bit mode even MDE X, but no M1 and Wavestation.
if you, have another idea I'm ok to try it

thank you

Unfortunately, no new ideas, i just told you what i did myself, and it worked for me. But it seems that it comes from your audio card if it can not initialize coreaudio, if you have an usb or firewire card, check the driver or try disable it to launch logic in 32 bit mode
