Vibrato with After Touch?
I am trying to put some after touch for vibrato on a fiddle patch.
I copied the GM fiddle to a user location for edit/saving. No matter I did in the LFO Tab I could not get the vibrato to trigger with AT (And Yes I believe I tried everything). I even went to global and set AT to highest sensitivity. What am I missing. I know I have done this with pitch bend in the past. There must be a parameter on another Tab that I am missing? If I get this worked out I will make a video to post. I am sure I am not the first one to have this problem.

Starting with the obvious questions... when you specified aftertouch as the AMS source, did you also turn up the intensity from the default of zero?
Also, you are assigning the aftertouch as an AMS source to an LFO which is modulating pitch, yes?

Korg: Trinity+ HDR, Triton Rack, Triton, M3 + Radias-R, Kronos 88, KingKORG, Korg Monotribe. Yamaha: 2xSY85, S90, Motif ES7, Motif XS8. Kurzweil: K2500
Go to the Pitch tab
You should not trigger the LFO with Aftertouch. Instead you have to set AMS intensity controlled by aftertouch for the LFO on the pitch tab.

Eddy- yes, I "dimed" everything on the LFO Tab and assigned it to AMS AT.
postman- I think you might have pointed me in the right direction. I will try it in the morning and post my results.
Thanks for the help gentlemen.

Postman- found the Tab, but still missing something. When setting up AT in this Tab, I get the vibato regardless of whether I have AT assigned to AMS or not. I need a step by step here...

Setting Aftertouch as vibrato
I think you changed the wrong Intensity. Here step by step:
- - In the LFO box on the Pitch Common tab from the OSC/Pitch tab:
- - LFO Select: Choose a LFO
- Intensity under LFO Select: set it to zero!
- AMS: After touch
- Intensity under AMS: Choose a certain value (for instance +0.44)
- - LFO Select: Choose a LFO
postman- that was it! thanks so much for your help. when I get a minute I might make a video of this and post it so people can see where it is exactly. the number of parameters on the Kronos is mind boggling.
