I find it interesting how some compare roland and korg. I remember when the Kronos came out people naturally were comparing to what else is on the market. I found it funny and ironic how when the Integra 7 came out Korg fans went, ha! roland! all they do is release there old stuff in new forms! unlike Korg with the Kronos! And im quick to point out that IF that is a problem for someone then im afraid Korg is just as guilty. What do you think MS-20 and the polysix in the Kronos are =/?

Point im trying to make! There is nothing wrong with a company getting their best of sound all together. A lot of people say, id rather see them go forward then backwards. Why is it that the ability to have everything that made them famous in one keyboard or sound module is considered backward? Maybe to some but sure not to most. You have to remember most people dont program their own sounds like we do.

Or maybe another question could be, whats "going forward" supposed to mean? surely it means different things to different people who use the keyboards for different things.

Me? My dream is to one day have a keyboard that has all my favorite things from Korg, Roland and kurzweil in one! Will never happen! but one can dream!
