iPolysix app for iPad released

The Kronos samples sounded louder, but even when I adjusted the volume accordingly, the Kronos still sounded thicker and richer, and seemed to have more motion in those parts of the sounds that had motion. Though it's kind of funny to compare two simulations, without comparing either one of them to a real PolySix! But the Kronos certainly sounds "better" to my ears, meatier.
I'm curious, did you notice any latency in triggering the iPad compared to playing the internal version of the sound?

It has to do with the audio processor of the IPAD.

You can use a drum part like a bass part. In that case, you can have 2 synths + 1 bass synth + 5 drums part.Ksynth wrote:Bought this last night and had a great time mucking around.
Cost $15
Two synths and two sequences in an easy to follow GUI.

You can program bass sounds but no play keyboard in pattern or song mode, just into edition.
How to do it ? easily: just scroll down into preset list and you'll find bass patches.
Thanks for the demo first of all!
The iPad Polysix simply sounds just poor compared to the Kronos, not speaking of the original. It's no possible replacement at all in my ears, just another iFun synth.

Kronos 73 - Moog Voyager RME - Moog LP TE - Behringer Model D - Prophet 6 - Roland Jupiter Xm - Rhodes Stage 73 Mk I - Elektron Analog Rytm MkII - Roland TR-6s - Cubase 12 Pro + Groove Agent 5

It's pretty close when I match the parameters and run the iPad through the Kronos' effects but the sounds are not identical.
A comparison between the iPolysix iPad app and the Korg Kronos iPolysix-Ex. Parameters on the iPolysix were copied from select Polysix-Ex patches in the Kronos. The ipad is connected to the Kronos via USB and is running through the Kronos using its insert effects. The first sounds played are from the ipad followed by the Kronos.
This proves that korg's legacy collection (polysix, ms-20) SOUNDS DIFFERENT than kronos' emulation of both instrument..
Love my kronos 88
Love my yamaha psr s910 as well

Just installed Konkreet Performer app on my iPad 2. Then on my Windows PC, Loopmidi and a couple of other program like script for Ableton Live and a max program. All required programs are listed on the KP web site.
Using Reaktor / Photone ensemble. OSC activated in Live / Reaktor.
Absolutely wonderful control.
KP cost $11
