Korg USB-MIDI driver install problem with Mavericks OS

Post by ahutnick »

I got a new Macbook Pro with Mavericks OS and when I try to install the Korg USB-MIDI driver on it I get a message saying" Korg USB-MIDI driver can't be opened because it's from an unidentified developer" Any one else have this problem with Mavericks? Thanks!

Go to system preferences and click on Security & Privacy. In the "General" tab you can select Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere ... you may have to click on the lock on the bottom to authenticate to make changes.

If you don't want to disable Gatekeeper, you can right-click on the installer, and choose Open, then click Open in the next window. This way you can keep the security in tact, and allow other apps as needed.
