What ever Korg has coming out, it better be beyond awesome!

Awesome would probably mean building on the success of the Kronos (MkII?)… which will no doubt be too expensive for me

After 2 years, I'm still in the Honeymoon period with mine, so luckily I'm not lusting after anything new.

But I guess we'll all find out tomorrow.

Korg have done a lot in recent years. I will not be surprised if there are no significant announcement in the synth area this year, and that should surely be OK given the amount they've done recently?

Yes, they are the main innovators over several years now, despite R&D limitations as in all companies.

At the moment new sonic content and updates for Kronos and Kingkorg would perhaps mean more to users than all kinds of new hardware, I guess.
Kronos 73 - Moog Voyager RME - Moog LP TE - Behringer Model D - Prophet 6 - Roland Jupiter Xm - Rhodes Stage 73 Mk I - Elektron Analog Rytm MkII - Roland TR-6s - Cubase 12 Pro + Groove Agent 5

I guess what I forgot to mention is that the only Korg Rumor is what was discovered through trade mark registration. Korg Registered Volca Pro and Triton Tactile.

One would assume this means new products and these new products would be featured at NAMM.

So if there is anything new, they really got all of that on "LOCK DOWN" this year until unveiled at NAMM.

One more day left!!!!

SMK,

where did you see/hear about this?

As far as the Volca Pro goes, I would not be surprised - this is the same thing Korg pulled with the monotron/tribe.

Seems there's a KORG Pa4X on the way.

I will believe it when I see it, but a good friend of mine was in a leading music store here in Ireland today and the guy working there was telling him about the Pa4X that's being released and that they had one on order.

Go figure. :?: Totally wasn't expecting that.

I hate to admit it but what I'm waitng for most is a serious recording interface for my iPad 4 with the Lightning connector. One with at least 8 inputs.
If music is the food of love, play on and play loud!
Gear: Kronos 73, Wavestation EX, Polysix, King Korg, Monotron and Monotron Duo, Minikorg, Moog Grandmother, my very old MiniKorg, 4 acoustic and 9 electric guitars, 1 Ibanez 5 string bass, a Steel guitar, a bunch of microphones, 2 pairs of studio monitors and other very cool toys, 1 wife and 4 cats and a lava lamp!
