Kronos MIDI out settings - help

Just got my new X61 this week. I am trying to set up the Kronos PC editor. I have the Korg USB driver files installed, the editor prog installed. But a window pops saying no MIDI IN ports found. I do have a USB cable connected and the Kronos does appear in Devices & Printers. This would be my first time connecting a keyboard to a PC so I am a lost puppy here. Any Kronos users have some tips on the internal Kronos settings I may be missing you care to share?

I stumbled upon that post right after I submitted my post. It helped to some degree. Seems I have quite a bit to learn on keyboard to PC integration.

Now I would like to know how to establish an ftp address on my Kronos. Is that a simple task? I am good with PC's...not very good at networking protocol.

Did all the steps...still no connection in spite of the fact my PC does still see the Kronos as a USB connected item.

by the way, I am using the USB 'B' port. Is that the correct USB port for PC connectivity?

USB B to computer is correct.
