Very true, robiabs. I acquired the Vbeat first, Bass second and Keys last. It did help being familiar with the Vbeat first. I do intend to go back to it. I just got the Vkeys on Friday and got distracted by its knobs and color schemes:) I do need to grasp the stutter across a pattern ( I still working on stutter/ global and step mode. I am working on keeping the stutter effect constant, as i move the Part step to another voice). Your advice is logical and sound.

VolcaPaul, good to know.

A little over my head at the moment:) still saving up for a mixer, and midi keyboard for the next adventure with the Volcas.

Maybe should archive all these useful suggestions, and observation for a dedicated thread.
