Reliable 6 or 8 AA battery charger recommendations

Post by 256K »

Hi all... another perhaps stupid post but i like asking advice before buying s**t.
Since the e2 takes 6 AAs for battery power... charging my batteries with my 4 bay charger now is getting stupid, having to wait till the first 4 are done then do 2 more

So i'm in the market for a 8 bay charger.. anyone have any good recommendations?

I've got this one:

It's great and smart. The maha powerex batteries are awesome as well.

Shop around on the price, I think mine was cheaper but I bought it 6 years ago and don't remember where, other than it wasn't a,Amazon or eBay.

This is where I got it

There is a slightly more expensive version, it charges faster.

Also, buy low self discharge NiMh batteries, normal NiMh will go dead if not used, in a matter of days. You can recharge them but it's annoying and of course all rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge/discharge cycles.
