Kronos MOD7 synth jam

Post by coyote144 »

A little Synth Jam without any other ambition than sharing some good FM textures.

This patch is made only with one MOD7 instrument animated with a complex set of LFOs.

Also to show that even the most complex synthesis in the most complex synth can be tweaked in real time with some good result (in my opinion  )

Please note that this patch will be part of my next Kronos SoundBank. To avoid any confusion, note that it NOT included in my previous Kronos SoundSet Tantale.

I liked it very much. The whole freq spectrum is used in a well balanced fashion. Is it only Karma or is any sequencing involved?

(wish I could use my K like you do 😕)

Thanks for listening, and many thanks for your coment.

there is no Karma at all. Sound motion is all made with un complex set of LFOs which modulate Waveshaper's gain on each FM operator and filters. I have made a sequence to demonstrate it, and I move parameters in real time on this sequence.

Back to this topic ;-)

A friend of mine thought my jam only lacked some drums to make it a full track. Drums come form Arturia Spark.

Some EQ, compression (API2500), and here's the result. You can download it as a WAV file. Feedback Welcome!

In my option it sounds excellent 8)

The video is nice to appreciate your work
but I agree, if you just want to listen , with the drums etc.. it is even better .
