Also If I'm disqualified for being late then so be it, rules is rules....I much prefer a month because I probably only have a few minutes each weeknight, then maybe a few hours on the weekends, and rarely do I bang out a finished track in a few hours. Some people can, I need to simmer in it for a while. Basic Ideas can come quick, but for me the polish takes multiple listening sessions.

Anyway it was a fun challenge, look forward to the next.

Nice take on it, it builds and changes really well. Especially like how you worked a tincan loop into it, that sounded well. Some fierce sounds too!!
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Volca Sample, FM, Beats, Kick. OP-1, Monologue, Pocket Operators. And an ipad.

In fairness to the other folks who turned in their entries let's keep this one out of the contest. That said, you get my vote for best use of those tin drums. That middle section is straight up bad ass. I'm looking forward to what you do in the next contest and I agree you should finish this remix and post when it's done.

I think it's a good idea to make the next contest longer. Do people agree that a month is a good amount of time? Or do you think a tighter 2-3 week deadline is better?

I'm on the fence personally. Maybe 3 weeks is a good compromise? I like the number 3 in general.

Monthly for me. Challenge issued on first day of the month, last week of the month is the poll.

Really awesome and full of reckless abandon. The ES-1 sounds damn good, I have to say. You're making me think about getting one! I have to say that I really love that people are posting their tracks even after the deadline. This was always meant to just get people sharing music anyway so thanks for contributing!

Thanks everybody. Looking forward to the next challenge. A month is good for me, even if the last week is the poll. Works well I think.

Props to everyone posting, if you posted soundcloud links I'm now following you all.

Can't wait to meet again on the field of battle!
