I've read shop reviews where people for their E2 with 1.06 or even higher. Seems they put the latest available (beta) firmware on the units before shipping them to retailers.

It doesn't have to be beta software. Sometimes something as simple as changing where they are made, or which version assembler you're using can trigger a new OS version. Doesn't mean there's anything to do with new features in them.

It doesn't. Hence the brackets Two more weeks till July. James Pullen has been as silent as Korg the past week or so. No more rumours about swappable firmware or statements such as "all user reported issues will be fixed". If the new firmware brings note and fx tails I will be very happy.

yep got one of the e2s devices with the 1.06 firmware. my pads are ok so far. hopefully some more updates will come and fix some of the reported bugs, still love mine. would be nice if there would be a os which got the features of the e2 & e2s combined

I got my E2S with 1.05 and haven't updated it yet

Who can help me to get rid of the unknown error on boot for loading the all sample file ? mine can't load the sample projects after reboot, can any of you talk in private or on the social networks ? I think there is some hex to change in the all sample file that you get from a sampler too or something...
