Kronos used as PA4X

Kronos used as PA4X

Well i tried posting this in the kronos forums and 47 views later no response
so i thought what the hell! see what happens here

I have a Kronos 88 and i am thinking of getting a PA4X
I love the action on the Kronos and can't see myself using something less.
But like the idea of what the PA4X can do.

My question is their any software that will allow me to use the kronos in a similar way as the PA4X.
I understand that Karma is very powerful and it can work in some cases, but to tell the truth, it's so deep, it's put me off using it.

In other words buy software rather then PA4X.
Finally any recommends as to software.

So do I understand this correctly?

You are wanting to
1. Have an arranger but instead of buying an arranger keyboard, keep your Kronos and use it as a "MIDI controller" to drive "Arranger Software" on a Mac/PC

If this is correct then I am unaware of any software that will do this (that doesn't mean that there isn't any)
Maybe someone else on these arranger-related forum sections can help.

Maybe the Korg MicoArranger midi'd to the Kronos would be a solution.

android midi arranger (tablet/phone),
vArranger or One Man band , both work great on windows and support yamaha styles.

I also have Pa600 hooked up with kronos, there are things to like and things to not like with hardware.

chack out the Roland bk 7m http://www.roland.com/products/bk-7m/ if it's to expansive check on eBay
