Kross Editor connection problem with Windows

Hello forum members,
on a Mac everything worked like a charm, on Windows I have problems.

I have installed the Korg USB driver first. Rebooted. The Korg Kross shows up in the Korg driver device list as #1 device. When I start the Editor it searches various MIDI devices and tries several combinations but at the end it does not find Kross. The Kross itself is in the default screen and the G-MIDI setting in the Filter are correct.

I think my issue is with the MIDI devices, Windows is just frustrating!
Any help would be appreciated.

Windows issue is partially solved. Stand alone works fine, but VST-plugin still does not recognize Kross. Funny thing is when I launch the plugin also the stand alone editor gets screwed and does not find Kross anymore.

After restart stand alone editor app finds and connects to Kross. I suppose the VST-plugin does not scan the MIDI ports same way as stand alone editor does. Is anybody out there that has had the same issue and resolved it?

Reply to myself: problem solved 100%. I did not do anything further. Microsoft happened. Both the plugin and stand alone editors work now. Erratic Windows behaviour.
