Cooling fan!

Post by siwaj11 »

Hi everyone,

I'm just curious my Kronos has an error popping up at the center top of my kronos touchview screen saying "cooling fan!" I've encounter this the moment I use my kronos where it's a bit warm. but when I use it inside my room where there is Air condition its not showing up. is this normal? coz I'm always playing outdoors. any suggestion to prevent these error.

thank you very much in advance. :)

Check the manuals. I believe there is a setting that turns the fan on when the Kronos processor reaches a specific temperature and it is adjustable.

thank you for the suggestion. but what i knew in os ver 3.0.2 is that the fan is auto activated when the kronos is heated up.

Read page 808 of the PG.

Not sure what the message means other than it might be telling you that the fan had engaged the higher speed setting and is not a problem, more like an FYI.

Do you have a newer Kronos (after 2013)?

I bought My kronos Last year April 2014. so its been a year now. I don't have any problem with my gear. only that notification popping up at the center of the touch view.

I have read some of the comments here in forum that the max temp of kronos is 82 degree C. I have reach 80 degree last night. I'm a bit worried on this. :(

perhaps there is a solution on this issue.

So which mode do you have the cooling fan set to?

Sounds like you might have it set to "off".

if you can hear the fan running, then it shouldn't be an issue. If you cannot hear the fan running you may have some kind of a problem. you might want to have a service center look at it then.you could also try to set it to slow and see what happens. according to the manual if it is set to slow and heats up it will automatically kick into high speed.

Hello siwaj11

Finally How do you solve this issue? I´m having the same message and I´a bit concerned about it. Thanks
