I'm having a technical issue which I'm unable to deal with. When my Kronos is connected to Cubase 9, using a Mk2 USB audio interface, and while turning Local Control (Global Settings) to OFF, I hear a sound which is quite similar to the sound you get when Local Control is turned ON. Furthermore, panning the channel using the Kronos leaves the sound dead center...
To help you helping me
-VST connections input L/R are set to audio device Steinberg USB / device port is set to UR22Mk2 Input1/Input2
- VST connections output are the same (but then Output 1/L and Output 2/R)
- Midi Port Setup:
> windows midi in for fantom G, Kronos 2 and UR22Mk2 are set to Visible, Active, In All Midi checked.
> windows midi out inactive for fantom, active for kronos and UR22
- Device Setup / VST Audio System (Steinberg USB ASIO) identical as VST connections.
I found a way to use Cubases VST instruments and the UR22 without this feedback, but then only VST instruments are sent thru the UR22. The output of UR22 is going to the line in L/R of the Korg Kronos. My active speakers get their signal from the L/R output of the Kronos (I want this to be the audio outputs of the UR22Mk2, ofcourse!)
Last detail: Loop Back is unchecked.
So, is there anybody who had the same problem? Am I doing something stupidly wrong?
Thx
Peter.
