springs in 88 keys

Rob when you say putting the keyboard on a flat suface will stop the noises did you mean the buzzing noise by the power supply or the spring noise in the keys?
I have a feeling you mean the buzzing noise.

I do mean the springy sounds in the keys. You get quite a clunky sound when you play the weighted keys, but before I put it on an even surface, I used to get a springy sound as well. Wasn't on the whole keyboard, just the octaves to the right of middle. Allthough I wouldn't be surprised if there was other benefits as well to making the keyboard very stable.
