Volca beats problem with batteries

Post by Digitalica »

Hi! First post for me on korgforums,
I have a volca beats and stopped turning on with batteries, with the ac adapter there is no problem turning it on.. Cables are ok, with a tester i checked the contacts on the volca board arriving from the batteries.. Batteries are ok too cause they turn on a volca keys.. Does anybody have any suggestion for fixing it?
Thanks

Checking the battery preference (bt.nH or bt.AL) might help and feeding the Volca with the proper battery type then.

Some Volcas are more picky about the batteries than the other. Sometimes my Volca Bass wont turn on on cheap NiMh batteries, while the Volca Keys is perfectly happy with them.
