upgrade path

A good year to all,
November last year, I downloaded the upagrade subsystem 108 and had alrleady copied it to a usb memory stick, After that I have to leave for abroad and have forgotten to load it to the Kronos. Now that a new firmware is now available, I remember that subsystem 108 is still in the usb flash drive. Is it still alright then to load it to the Kronos before I upgrade to the new firmware?
If so, may I ask too how it is done since there's no instructions at the Korg support. Again thanks and regards.
