Kronos sequencer autopan

Post by silon »

Hi!
I need some help with Kronos sequencer. I have noticed that auto pan is enabled for a track and I do not how to disable it!
What I found in addition to that is that the track number is not always the same and it is altered (maybe after I go to set list and get back to sequencer). For example, yesterday track 12 was auto panning, then 4, then 5 etc. An odd thing is that when, say track 12 is panning, it will happen for track 12 on most of the songs loaded :!: :!: :!:
Has anyone noticed that before or any idea how to stop it?
Thanks

If this "auto pan" is moving to different tracks it would seem not to be coming from the sequencer. I would then suspect an external source. Pans can be moved by MIDI CC #10. Do you have anything connected to the Kronos via MIDI or USB? If so, try it with those disconnected.

Although I cannot recreate all this, it seems that it is related to Kronos being connected to my pc via usb. I think pc was on when it all happened but there was no program running that would send any midi cc. I will keep my mind on it and see if Kronos is somehow affected by this connection.

Thank you.

Well this happened again while pc was off and kept on even after I disconnected usb cable which of course was dead anyway. Autopan was there while no external source was...
Two things I can say are (a) when I reloaded .sng file, autopan disappeared and (b) when I set midi channel to OFF, it stopped as if it was controlled by something.
I have no idea what that something is...
