Thought I'd try and utilize the forum exactly as it suggests and first say Hello. I'm a formally trained pianist, having practiced nearly every day for 41 years this March. I'll hit my big 50th Bday soon. Having said this, I am a performer who has nothing but green envy for all those who speak techie as a 2nd language. When I was in highschool, the internet wasn't around yet. This seemingly has put me at a disadvantage when trying to keep up with all the Jone's, so to speak.
Well, after purchasing a Kronos X, I realized that I must dedicate nearly the same amount of time spent perfecting Chopin Etudes, Rachmaninoff, Chic Corea, etc on learning the Kronos inside and out. My pledge to this site is to thoroughly learn all I can from it and its members, and in turn, try my best to add value by sharing all/anything I learn as well, being kind and considerate to all, and enjoying perhaps sharing what I do know from performing every genre after many years as a performing classical pianist.
Korg Kronos X, Mackie Hr624mk2 monitors, M-Audio BX8 monitors, Yamaha HS8S sub, Sony 3way speakers (postM listening only), Beyerdynamic DT770 headgear, Lenovo Ideapad 500 (main daw), Ipad Airtouch 2 (reading/writing scores) Software/Daw – Cakewalk Sonar, Finale 2014, Protools 12
